Our Projects - Rope Lake Head - Phase 2
Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, this project was to improve access to the circular route created under the Rope Lake Head Swyre Head Phase 1 project. The work could not happen at the Phase one stage because of a landslip that occurred at that time. Decisions to carry out works could not be concluded until the land had dried out and the landownership, grazier and Countryside Ranger could get onto the site to analysis the situation. The improvements provided 70 new steps which have already been admired by walkers since they were installed. All work have been successfully completed.
