The section of South West Coast Path that runs through Daddyhole Plain, Torquay has been neglected and had become overgrown and uncared for. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project,, this project was part of the wider Rock End Walk Project and has enabled some much needed improvements to be provided to the area.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
