Our Projects - Mawnan path improvements

The South West Coast Path heading west from Maenporth towards Mawnan Church is a popular stretch of path. The path is in a generally good condition but there are a couple of areas where small improvements would make a huge difference to the use of the path and the enjoyment for the user. This project has highlighted the priority of small jobs along this stretch to improve the walk experience. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the project was able to focus upon installing 2 new pieces of furniture along the coast path - new boardwalk and kissing gate. However, tree branches were also cut back, water grips dug, steps tidied up and a new drainage channel dug.
