“As the Community Engagement Officer for Coast Path Connectors in Plymouth, I engage with the community to ensure local residents can enjoy walking on the Coast Path. My responsibilities include identifying and addressing current barriers and challenges, organising walking groups tailored to various interests and abilities, and managing a dedicated team of volunteers who serve as walk leaders.
“Throughout my employment I have been fortunate to have worked for many charities to protect our local environment and connect people with nature. I have been working for the SWCPA since 2022 and feel privileged to be able to spend time on the path with such a range of wonderful people. I'm a Plymouth girl, born and bred and love to travel, but you can usually find me either on the beach or on Dartmoor with my family.”
