Mawgan Porth, North Cornwall: Short diversion due to cliff fall

23rd Jan 2018. Mawgan Porth, North Cornwall: Due to a cliff fall just north of Mawgan Porth (Grid ref SW: 849 675) a section of the South West Coast Path has been diverted. At most states of the tide you can instead walk on the beach below the cliff (but please keep a safe distance away from the base in case of further cliff falls), whilst at high tide, walkers will need to divert inland of the Scarlet Hotel as shown on the map below. This will only add a few minutes to the walk.
