Porthleven to Loe Bar: Path diverted due to cliff fall
5th January 2018: A cliff fall has severed the path between Porthleven and Loe Bar at Grid Reference SW 638 245. As a result walkers need to follow the diversion as shown on the map below through the National Trust's Penrose estate. This adds about 1 3/4 mile to the route. Sections of the diversion can be muddy after rain so it can be quite slow going.
Hopefully this will be a temporary diversion as the National Trust and Cornwall Council are working to create a shorter diversion around the cliff fall.
