Lynton and Lynmouth (June 2021): Temporary Closure and Diversion
A short section of the South West Coast Path is temporarily closed between Lynmouth and Lynton. This for a period of up to 5 days to enable utilities works to be carried out. A diversion is in place.
The closure relates to public footpath 241FP26 (known as Wester Way or the Cliff Railway Path) from its junction with Footpath 241FP27 at OSGR SS 7222 4956 to its junction with Footpath 241FP25 (Clooneavin Path) at OSGR SS 7208 4953 for a distance of 425 metres due to concern for public safety during essential works being undertaken by Openreach.
The closure will take effect from Monday 7th June 2021 and will remain in force for 5 days or sooner if works are completed. The diversion is shown on the plan.
