Walks from and around Teignmouth include a walk along the South West Coast Path following the railway, a ferry trip across the Teign to explore Shaldon and optionally further along the coast to the RSPB nature reserve at Labrador Bay.
A walk from Teignmouth Station along a traditional promenade before crossing the River Teign by ferry. Visit the Smuggler's Tunnel before wandering around the picture perfect riverside village of Shaldon. Apart from a brief walk up Ness Drive this walk keeps to flat pavements and paths. Cross the ferry across the Teign to Shaldon, climb up the Ness for a great view back to Teignmouth, before heading along the rolling cliff tops into an RSPB nature reserve. You can either return by bus or along a slightly different path.Read more »
