Wembury Rubbings Trail

Discover the Coast Path around Wembury by following our rubbings trail!

There are 12 rubbings plaques which make up 2 trails to be found along the Coast Path near Wembury for you to find. Follow the Coast Path going either East or West, collect the rubbings and find out about wildlife and the tales of the Coast Path.

Complete all the rubbings from either side and email us: [email protected] to receive a certificate.

Pick up a leaflet and a pencil from Wembury Marine Centre, the National Trust car park office or the Old Mill Cafe at Wembury, to find out where they are or download from here:    

Wembury Trail – West 1mile. An easy flat route that hugs the coast heading towards Heybrook Bay

Wembury Trail – East 1.5miles. This route has a short climb to the top of the hill, followed by beautiful views towards Warren Point

Getting to Wembury 

There is a National Trust car park just by the beach and charges apply to non-members.

From Plymouth, you can catch the Stagecoach SW48.

Facilities at Wembury

There are public toilets just off the beach and refreshments are available from the Old Mill Café.
