Teachers and group leaders
We have developed teaching resources to help with your discovery of the Coast Path.
Download our cross-curriculum resources to support your visit or study of the Coast Path such as spotters guides, maps and activities, videos, local information, as well as activity packs, linked to wildlife, map skills, coastal features and smugglers tales.
Take your group on our FREE interactive trail: Based along the Coast Path at Wembury, you can explore the Coast Path for yourself by following the trail and completing activities along the way, which focus on Coast Path tales, wildlife and map skills.
Borrow our resources: We have a rucksack filled with maps, binoculars, and activities to help you discover the Coast Path. Located on the Coast Path at Wembury Marine Centre, this is free for groups to borrow. Why not combine this with a rockpooling trip to Wembury Marine Centre?
Book a FREE guided activity or classroom (KS1&2) workshops: We can come to you in your setting and deliver sessions specific to your needs, and with reference to your local area. Activities can include: mapskills, coastal changes, local smuggling stories, planning your trip to the Coast Path. We can help you plan your own trip to the Coast Path, and depending on availability, we can lead sessions on sections of the Coast Path close to you.
