We always welcome new volunteers and are interested in a wide range of skills and expertise.
If you have time to spare - from a few hours to a few days or more, we would love to hear from you. As a charity we are always looking for enthusiastic people to be the heart of the organisation and help us make the Path a memorable experience for as many people as possible. Our volunteers help with office tasks, spreading the word about what we do, supporting events, website checking and much, much more. Your skills are valuable and we'd love to hear from you. Please email us at [email protected]
Local and Area Reps
We are looking for enthusiastic walkers who are passionate about the South West Coast Path. If you enjoy walking and would like to be a part of our friendly team please contact Richard Walton on 01752 876946 or email [email protected] .
As a charity, we have up to 12 trustees at any time which means we have a broad and varied skill set to make the important decisions about how the Association supports and promotes the Path. Already within the trustees, we have expertise in charity finance, planning, Highway Authorities, Rights of Way, IT and managing staff. However, we feel that there are some areas which are less well covered, such as marketing, charity law, commercial/business, tourism, public relations and social media.
So, if you have something to contribute and would be willing to devote a few hours a month to help the Association flourish, this is a rewarding undertaking.
You can download a copy of our Trustee Prospectus which gives you more details about who we are looking for and the responsibilities of being a Trustee. If you would like to make an application, please see the application form or to discuss the opportunity in more detail please feel free to contact our Chairman, Ken Carter, at [email protected]
Couch to Coast volunteers

Roles might include; peer support to individuals during walks, back-marking, completing reconnaissance walks, and supporting the walking programme. Full training and support will be given.
