During this period of uncertainty and change, we are constanting updating this Support Hub with information, guidance and ideas from our business community, tourism and professional bodies and government to support our Business Members who have always shown such commitment to the South West Coast Path. Financial Support Available
The government's most recent announcements regarding financial support for businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors includes business rate breaks and cash grants up to £50,000 for small businesses (see latest information on 'Bounce Back loans available from 4th May with payments within 24 hours); furloughing of employees; extensions to defer tax payments; breaks on national insurance contributions and support for the self-employed with trading profits up to £50,000 and help with statutory sick pay payments. These are constantly being updated so check the links on a regular basis.

Cleaning Guidance and Free 'Covid-Clean' Accreditation Schemes
There are now two main free accreditation schemes designed to show compliance with government COVID cleaning gujidelines and to reassure guests that your property is a safe place to stay. Both schemes need you to fill in a risk assessment. Regardless of whether you sign up for the accreditation, it's a good idea to inform your guests of your own Covid measures for them to stay safe and clean when they visit you.
