Would you like to gain valuable Charity Board experience while working to conserve and promote one of the world’s best long-distance trails?

We are seeking new Trustees to help strengthen our work and reputation. We're a well-established Charity with ~ 7,000 individual & business members and over 100 volunteers. We work in partnership with government and stakeholders to promote the 630-mile National Trail, and to enhance and conserve it for future generations.

Our Board meets quarterly at Royal William Yard. We have committees on finance/HR, membership/fundraising and Path matters to help support our Director and staff in their work. We are currently looking for someone with financial/accounting skills, and/or experience of the health and wellbeing sector.

We are committed to improving the diversity of our Board and particularly welcome applications from women, those in the BAME community and people with disabilities. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to help sustain the work of our charity to share the benefits of the South West Coast Path, described recently as one of England’s ‘unmissable experiences’ by Lonely Planet.
