There’s all sorts of spooky stuff happening on or near the Path this October, so why not head down to one of these great events and team it with one of our walks, guaranteed to tire out your little monsters!


Halloween Hocus Pocus!

Schools out, but The Milky Way are enrolling students in a very special school for Witches & Wizards. From spell writing, casting and broomstick riding this is one not to be missed! You can then head to nearby Clovelly for our beautiful Clovelly and Mouth Mill walk that passes through woods, moors and grassland.

Halloween Half Term at World of Country Life

A gentle stroll along the eastern bank of the Exe Estuary is a perfect way to round of a day of fun at the Halloween Half Term at World of Country Life in Exmouth. From pumpkin carving and creepy crafts to the hotly anticipated show of ‘Angus & the Witch’.

Dinosaur Halloween Horrors 

Starting at Torquay Railway station, the Agatha Christie Mile walk is the perfect addition to a hair-raising day at Torquay’s Dinosaur World where you’ll have to save the dinosaurs from the wicked witch and ghastly ghouls who have taken over.

Blow away the cobwebs with a walk from Carbis Bay to Lelant then head to Paradise Park to join their ‘Owl Prowl’ trail with a special Halloween disco on Friday 27th October.

Newquay’s Pirate Quest

Walk the beautiful stretch from Crantock & Pensol Creek then join Newquay’s Pirate Quest for some swashbuckling scares. From spriggans and knockers to witches and will o’ the wisps there’s plenty of spooktacular villains to meet during the adventure. For more info click here.


Flambards Halloween & Firework Spectacular

Old Lyme Ghost Tour & Lyme Slime Halloween Festival

There’s plenty of coastal walking to be enjoyed in and around Lyme Regis before joining one of the spooky ghost tours to learn about a headless royal duke and a ghostly dog who rescues a sailor.
