Visit Cornwall CEO Malcolm is clocking up the miles for the Coast Path Challenge

Malcolm Bell, Visit Cornwall’s Chief Executive, is passionate about the South West Coast Path. For the 2016 challenge event he has pledged to walk just under 30 ‘Malcolm’s Miles’ in three days on 5th, 6th & 9th October.

This will take him all the way from Rame Head, through Looe and onto Fowey. With his team, they will be stopping off at key locations and hope to meet tourism businesses based along the route.

Malcolm is asking local businesses to help fundraise towards the costs of protecting and maintaining the Coast Path.

Malcolm says: “I’m taking on this challenge to showcase the wonderful places that people can experience as they walk along the Coast Path. Whether you live nearby, are visiting on holiday or run a business nearby, we all need to protect and maintain this unique walking route. Join me to support the South West Coast Path by raising funds to ensure that we can conserve it for future generations to enjoy.”

If you are a tourist based business, and would like to meet with Malcolm when he stops off in the afternoon/early evening, then please email [email protected] to register your interest.
