Enter the annual photo competition to win top prizes
The annual South West Coast Path photo competition has been launched once again to find all the best photographs taken of the beautiful landscapes found along our coastline.
A spectacular image of England's most westerly point, Land's End in Cornwall, beat hundreds of entrants in last year's competition and will appear on the front of the South West Coast Path’s 2013 calendar, which goes on sale this summer. To see all the winning entries and to enter the competition for this year visit the photo competition page. You can also visit our Flickr site for all previous winners in 2011 and before.
The overall winner in 2012 will receive a £700 voucher from Cornish Cottage Holidays to be put towards a stay in any one of their 600 properties, which they can use as a base to explore the coast and take inspiration from the landscape. Their work will also grace the front cover of the official 2014 calendar. All 12 winning entries for the calendar will also receive a copy of the South West Coast Path photography book by acclaimed landscape photographer Adam Burton, who will judge the competition.
Additional prizes include a guidebook of the Coast Path and one year’s membership of the South West Coast Path Association, a copy of the latest calendar and the following year’s calendar featuring the winning entries. The competition runs throughout the year and the deadline is 31st December 2012.
