New research reveals economic value of the South West Coast Path

Figures released today by the South West Coast Path team show that walkers using England’s longest National Trail spent around £436m during 2012, an increase of almost 15% in the past three years.

The section of Coast Path below the road between Jennycliff and Bovisand on the eastern edge of Plymouth is closed whilst work is underway to replace a large timber staircases along the route.  This work should be complete by the end of March 2014.
