Partnership working sees improved access to popular Churston Cove in Torbay
Published on: Nov. 21, 2023, 5:48 p.m.
Churston Cove, which lies just West of Brixham, is a very popular section of the Torbay coastline enjoyed and loved by both locals and visitors. The route of the South West Coast Path runs along the back of the Cove but access along the National Trail heading Eastwards is up some steep terrain with a number of flights of steps. Over the years the steps have deteriorated and became very difficult to walk on this section. The South West Coast Path Association, Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust and SWISCo worked together to fund the project which would improve the access to this wonderful area.
