Education resources

We want to get more families, schools and young people out exploring the Coast Path. We want you to explore, discover and learn about this amazing resource that we have on our doorstep.

The South West Coast Path has so much to offer in terms of wildlife and beautiful landscapes, and is a place to spend time alone, with friends and family, and somewhere to get exercise and fresh air.

Families

On the Path:

We have a range of Family walks to discover, including this accessible circular one around Noss Mayo, as explored by children from Sparkwell All Saints Primary School.

Collecting geocaches? Look out for our special Coast Path geocoins at Coast Path geocaches. More information here.

At home:

Why not download our Home learning pack, full of Coast-Path inspired activities for practising your map skills as well as some colouring sheets?

Feeling creative? Try out some of these great art ideas.

Teachers and group leaders

We have developed teaching resources to help with your discovery of the Coast Path.

You can:

Download our cross-curriculum resources to support your visit or study of the Coast Path such as our 'Smugglers and the South West Coast Path' resource pack, spotters guides, and more.

Visiting South Devon coast? We have a rucksack filled with maps, binoculars, and activities to help you discover the Coast Path. Located on the Coast Path at Wembury Marine Centre, this is free for groups to borrow. Why not combine this with a rockpooling trip to Wembury Marine Centre?  We also have a number of downloadable maps and resources for use along this stretch of coast.

Please note: When visiting the Path, do have a look through our safety guidance to help you plan a safe and enjoyable trip.
