Why does your contribution matter?

If we are successful in raising £10,000* of donations this could unlock £15,000 worth of labour from our partners, including the rangers of the National Trust, Dorset Countryside Service, Devon County Council and Cornwall Council.

Each step that is replaced will be made of long-lasting local oak or sweet chestnut and cut to six inch high step boards. Using hardwood materialsmeansthey will last longer, reduce the need for preservation treatments andimproves the overall quality of the Path.

Step up and these new steps will ease your climbs and descents along the Path, helping you to enjoy your experience more.

We can only achieve this appeal target by the end of June, with your help, which is why we want to recognise all our supporters that are able to donate and help us to protect this wonderful National Trail, with some special thank yous.

*If we raise more than £10,000 in donations through this appeal the funding will be used to go towards the overall 40FOR40 campaign target of £40,000 and could be used to help towards other projects as identified by the South West Coast Path Association. Any donors contributing towards this appeal, after the target has been reached by the end of June 2018, will receive recognition as outlined above.
