South West Coast Path
Photographer of the Year 2020
Celebrating 10 years of amazing coastal photography
Now in its 10th year, the South West Coast Path Photographer of the Year competition is coming back very soon! And as always, we’re super excited to see the incredible shots you’ve taken of the Trail. It’s been a challenging year for us all, but one good thing to come out of these truly unprecedented times is a revival of our love for nature. That’s why this year we’ve decided to provide a title theme to inspire your entries.
2020 Competition Theme: Time for Nature
As Britain’s longest National Trail, the 630-mile South West Coast Path wraps its way around the entire south west region, spanning four counties. It creates a natural corridor for walkers and wildlife alike, so that we can pass through magnificent landscapes and connect to the natural world around us. Something we all now recognise the importance of.
With this in mind, we want you to share photos that encapsulate this feeling. That celebrate nature at its best and show the unique connection we have with the great outdoors. From craggy rocks and rolling hills to sultry sunsets and crashing waves, mother nature provides a bounty of subject material – all you need to do is get out there with your camera.
