The Dorset Walk 2020, 10th - 12th July, Weymouth, Dorset

The  Malcolm Whales Foundation was set up following Malcolm's death from bowel cancer in 2008, aged just 55. The charity raises awareness and funds for all cancers, with particular focus on children's cancer. To raise money the foundation organises an annual July walk along the South West Coast Path, walking 40 miles from Weymouth to Studland over 3 consecutive days. The event is walked each year by hundreds of secondary school students and other adults. Over the last 11 years with the help and support of hundreds of walkers, the foundation has raised over £250,000. In 2020 the charity will be holding its 12th walk and for the first time ever, it looks like we are going to reach the maximum number of 400 participants – compared to 2008, when 30 young people took part.
