Impact Fundraiser

Will Keen

Born and raised in South Devon, I have always had a passion for our local area. I am a proud Devonian and have been sharing my passion for our two stunning coastlines and cream teas made the right way round for the last eight years within various roles in the travel and tourism industry. I have held a number of Marketing and Operational Management roles with both local and national companies, with responsibilities ranging from marketing to account management to systems administration.

I have also been an active member of St John Ambulance since age 6 and am currently a volunteer District Youth Officer, with responsibility for young people and programmes within Devon. Charity has always been important to me – I am firmly of the belief that we have a responsibility in life to give something back to the world and, having benefitted from St John offering me the opportunities I had, I’m proud to be able to develop those further for the next generation.

I’m also incredibly lucky that my circumstances provide me with access to both of the Devon stretches of the coast path; I’m fortunate enough to live in Torbay where I was raised, and my partner Lucy lives in North Devon, so you’ll often find me watching the sun rise looking out over Thatchers Rock, and then watching the sun set from Croyde. Lucy has brought out my more adventurous side, and so I’m slowly learning to SUP (though the standing up part is proving a challenge so far!)

Having had the privilege of sharing this beautiful part of the world with others in the commercial world, I’m now incredibly proud to be giving something back as the Impact Fundraiser for the South West Coast Path Association, working with our major donors and developing legacy and in-memory giving programmes. If you would like to find out more about how you can mark your own memory, or leave something to the Coast Path after you’ve passed away, please get in touch – I would love to speak with you!
