"I have the rather enviable task of promoting Britain’s longest and best loved National Trail, whilst also raising awareness of the Association’s vital charity work. This includes creating campaigns, running the charity’s social media and ecomms, producing our bi-annual member magazine, running our annual photo comp, managing press enquiries and a whole lot more!
Having grown up in North Devon where my parents ran a B&B, the Coast Path has always been on my doorstep and thus a big part of my life. However, like so many people, I hadn’t always realised the true scale of it. It was during a 16 month trip to South and Central America that I really found my love for long-distance walking and on my return – I was finally ready to appreciate the value of this incredible trail.
I am slowly, but surely working to complete the trail in true linear fashion. I look forward to the day that I can join the many ‘Completers’ who contact me with their inspiring stories. The question I get asked most often is where the best part of the South West Coast Path is. My response? Go and find out for yourself. See you out there!"
